LAS VEGAS – Oracle and NVIDIA have expanded their alliance with a multi-year partnership to use computing and artificial intelligence to help solve customer and business challenges.
Collaboration aims to bring NVIDIA to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), according to Oracle Month.
Thousands of NVIDIA GPUs will be added to OCI, including the A100 and H100. OCI’s bare-metal AI cloud infrastructure, networking, and storage will be combined to create an accessible portfolio for large-scale AI and deep learning training.
NVIDIA and Oracle have been partners for years with the computing software and instances made available by OCI. The extended partnership aims to accelerate AI-powered innovation for many industries to provide the best customer service and sales support.
NVIDIA AI Enterprise, software for the NVIDIA AI platform, that includes processing engines for AI workflows. NVIDIA AI allows companies to build models to automate business processes and gain business insights faster using conversational AI, recommendation systems, and computer vision.
OCI and NVIDIA plan to release NVIDIA AI Enterprise on OCI, to provide customers and partners with access to NVIDIA’s platform for AI development and deployment. Oracle offers access to NVIDIA RAPIDS to process Apache Spark data for its customers.
NVIDIA Clara is a healthcare AI and HPC app to aid in medical imaging, genomics, natural language processing, and drug discovery.
Oracle and NVIDIA are collaborating on new AI-accelerated Oracle Cerner offerings for the healthcare industry, which can improve scope analytics, clinical solutions, operations, and patient management systems.
